VIRTUALLY INAUDIBLE OPERATION

Even at 100% PWM fan speed noise is an insignificant 24.3dB(A)

The two Silent Wings PWM fans feature advanced fluid-dynamic bearings, smooth six-pole motors and airflow-optimized fan blades. The front Silent Wings 3 fan provides extremely high air pressure, thanks to a funnel-shaped air inlet in the frame. Decoupled fan mounting with vibration-isolating elements on the heat sink.

Airflow-optimized, wave-contoured cooling fins with small dots on their surfaces increase the air circulation. The special black coating with ceramic particles makes a perfect transfer of heat possible.

Dark Rock Pro 4 contains two aluminum heat sinks. The cutouts provided enhance its RAM compatibility. Two fans are pre-installed. It is also possible to add another 120mm fan for even better cooling.

The mounting kit for the Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler is completely black, perfectly matching the black design of the cooler itself. You can conveniently install the cooler on the motherboard from above. Tames even the hottest CPUs

If I could give 4.5 out of 5 I would, but I'll round up to 5/5. This cools my Ryzen 9 5950X extremely well and I haven't had the CPU go above 90C so I'm overall really happy with the performance of this cooler.
My only criticism of it is the thin clips holding the fans in place. I think it's a very bad design and the metal is so pliable that it's easy to bend the metal out of shape which could be a problem down the road. I would have liked to have screws holding the fans in place instead of the flimsy clips but since the computer generally doesn't move, it's not the biggest issues. It would just be better to see a more solid mount for the fans.
I think this cooler is overkill for anything under a Ryzen 7, but if you're building a Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 9 system, this cooler is worth the purchase, especially if it's on sale.

Great performance but needs improveme

Product is quiet and performs well. Very effective.
RAM conflict: Corsair RBG Vengeance cards did not allow normal installation of this product due to the outside fan bumping into them. Additional steps were needed which turned into a lengthy process Installation; Instructions could be more clear and informative. No information on how one could best use the mount hooks or why they include two different kinds. 2+ hours to install due to troubleshooting RAM problem. You quite literally need at least a second person to help install. I don't know what I would have done alone lol. Design; They should compensate for the other side being used for the outside fan if users have RAM issues. No pads on that other side makes those metal hooks a lot tougher to latch. I know my fingers still feel it from the other day. - Those metal hooks to mount the fans were quite the pain to deal with, especially if you make any mistakes / have to readjust any fans. Which also brings up the problem of bending the metal core blades as you try to latch on the fans.
Overall product works great but installation was very lengthy and irritating

Beautiful Silent Beast

This thing does an absolute dynamite job of keeping my 9700k under wraps, looks incredible doing it, and is whisper quiet to boot. I absolutely love this thing!
Will not accommodate taller RAM modules. Corsair RGB modules are a no-go with this bad boy unless you're willing to remove the front fan. G.Skill Trident Z RGB (45mm tall) fit fine and dandy though. Just be aware of the height of your memory modules before hand.
This thing is incredible, and I wish I'd gone with it when I first built my machine. Instead I upgraded to it a few months ago, and am incredibly happy with it thus far. If you're using this in a fresh build, I strongly recommend installing the cooler, before mounting your motherboard in the case (if possible). Mounting this thing in the case, can be tedious, especially if you have larger hands.
